(0)

This video depicts surgical management of an aggressive mucormycosis in a 80 year old gentleman who had recurrent mucormycosis following Covid infection. An immediate bilateral maxillectomy was carried out to prevent further spread of this fungal infection into the orbit and infra-temporal fossa.

The intention of these series of videos is impart knowledge and share his personal experiences and success with surgeries to train and enhance the skills of the younger surgeons to take it to their operating tables.

We thank all our patients for voluntarily agreeing to be part of this educational video series. From Dr Girish Rao
